Santas Christmas List

Letter to Santa

Suggestions for your Christmas wish list

It’s December, the decorations are going up around Keynsham and the countdown to Christmas has officially begun. Whether you’ve been naughty or nice, we’ve got some suggestions for your wish list in your letter to Santa.

For anyone keen to keep their winning smile, you could ask for an electric toothbrush. Studies have shown that people who use electric toothbrushes have healthier gums, less tooth decay and keep their teeth for longer. The Oral Health Foundation’s 11-year study showed that electric toothbrush users had 22% less gum recession and 18 % less tooth decay.

Slippers and socks are an under-the-tree staple for men, but any gadget geek would be impressed by a high-tech water flosser. Proven to be gentle on teeth and gums, it’s a good option for anyone having braces or those that find manual brushing difficult.

Top present choices for 2020

For the younger family members, top toys for Christmas 2020 include the Poopsie Dancing Unicorn, the latest LEGO set and a lifelike fully moving animatronic Baby Yoda. We can’t compete with those! But if you are looking for small gifts to fill a child’s Christmas stocking you could stick with tradition and add an orange or a satsuma (Vitamin C is good for healthy gums). For some future fun, how about chewable disclosing tablets so they can see how well they’ve been brushing.

Tradition also says that Santa Claus would punish badly behaved children by leaving them just a lump of coal. Few homes have a coal fire today, so we suggest a good alternative for the ‘naughty’ grown up family members might be charcoal toothpaste.  (It’s actually a fine grain powder made from wood, coconut shells and other natural substances oxidised under extreme heat.)

The deadline for sending your Christmas wish list to Santa Claus is Friday 11 December (if you want a reply).  More details about how to write to Santa via the Royal Mail can be found here https://www.royalmail.com/christmas/letters-to-santa
